Sean Wichman P.E.

Principal

Sean began his civil engineering career as a field engineer working on the San Francisco International Airport Expansion project. This led to his involvement in the extension of the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit system to San Francisco Airport working with the Tutor Saliba Corporation, where he also worked on the Richmond San Rafael Bridge seismic retrofit project. Next came a position as Senior Project Engineer with the Fluor Corporation on the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge project followed by other large scale rail and transit developments in the USA, Canada and Europe. From 2012 until co-founding Rosewich, he took up a role with American Bridge as Section Manager on the £1.4bn Queensferry Crossing cable-stayed bridge project in Scotland, UK, where he was responsible for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, design and fabrication layout of over 45,000 metric tonnes of steel for all the major temporary and permanent works during construction of the bridge. 

Sean co-founded Rosewich in 2015. He is a Bachelor of Science graduate in civil engineering from the University of Portland, Oregon. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of California, Illinois and New Jersey. He is also a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is working towards a Chartered Fellowship of the Institution of Civil Engineers in the UK. He is a CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector.
